The Energon in Science Park II is located at the Eselsberg in Ulm, near the Expo site. It was built in 2002/2003 as the world’s largest passive house office building. The location (a shady south-facing slope) was carefully chosen to optimally use the sun’s energy. The location at the Eselsberg also offers an excellent view of the valleys surrounding the Danube.

The five-story office building offers ca. 6,500 m² of space for 420 workplaces. A glass-roofed atrium serves as a light and fresh air provider. A photovoltaic system has been installed both on the roof of the ENERGON and on a neighbouring parking area
